几年前东区山清水秀，繁花似锦，树木郁郁葱葱。道路宽敞，汽车川流不息。道路两旁，耸立着一幢幢高楼大厦，晚上灯火辉煌。
随着经济的高速发展，东区附近的工厂越来越多，有的工厂，冒出滚滚浓烟，飘向四周，空气污染严重。一些工厂排出的工业废水黑乎乎、臭臭地，这些废水进入土壤，严重污染地下水，一些水沟中已见不到小鱼、小青蛙等。
马路上汽车越来越多，汽车尾气、尘埃随风飘舞，马路两旁的花草树木无精打采，很少看到蓝天白云，雾霾天气常有发生。每次下雨，造成酸雨污染。这些现象对人和动物身体有严重的伤害。
面对这些环境污染，开发区也正在积极治理，我家前面“南玻”化工厂已搬走，那高耸入云的烟筒已爆破，现在周边的空气明显好转。
保护环境，从我做起，从小做起。不随地吐痰、乱扔垃圾，扔垃圾要分类，见到地上有垃圾，要捡起来扔到垃圾筒中。要节约用水，告诫周边叔叔阿姨要爱护环境，爱护地球，爱护东区、大自然。我多么渴望东区的明天，山更青、水更绿，空气更清新!

我可以发自内心的说：“我并没有真正的做到在生活中环保。”可是我突然发现其实环保很简单。如：把洗过菜和米或洗过拖把的水拿来冲厕所、把废旧报纸垫在衣柜里可以防潮、去饭店里吃饭自己带筷子不用一次性筷子……自从我发现环保很简单时，我去饭店里吃饭自己会带筷子不用一次性筷子，用过的电池会投入回收垃圾箱;出门带茶壶;出门随手关电源插座。
现在我还成一个“环保小卫士”呢!

地球，是我们人类的家园;地球，是我们赖以生存唯一的地方;地球，是生命的摇篮。地球本是一个绿草如茵、生机盎然、美丽壮观的球体。由于人们缺乏环保意识，任意毁坏自然资源，弄得地球水流花谢、遍体鳞伤。人们啊，醒醒吧，如果再不好好保护地球，地球将会支离破碎。人们啊，立刻行动起来吧，珍惜资源，保护地球，人人有责。
随着科技的不断发展，人们的生活水平不断的提高。因而工厂也越来越多，白色污染越来越严重，所以造成全球生态变化严重恶化。23%的耕地面积严重退化，50%的江河水流量减少或被严重污染，25%的哺乳动物、12%的鸟类濒临灭绝，1/4类所患疾病与环境恶化有关。土地面临沙漠化严重。80多个国家严重缺水，10亿人口受到荒漠化威胁，我国生态环境状况的几个数字：水土流失面积367万平方千米，约占全国面积的38%，全国平均每年新增水土流失1万平方千米。同学们，看了这些数据，你难道不感到人类即将面临严重的自然灾害吗?珍惜资源，保护地球，让我们从现在做起，从身边的小事做起，节约一滴水，节约每一寸土地，节约每一度电，节约每一张纸;爱护所有的小动物，爱护所有地球上的资源，爱树、爱花、爱草，让人类的母亲地球，变得越来越美丽。

If I have a belongs to my own hut, I'll change all power for energy-efficient and form the habit of conveniently switch off the power supply, I'll go shopping when the poster to bring home, spread them in my wardrobe below; During the hot summer months, I'll prepare a water bed, when the water can no longer cold out laundry,and In cold winter, I can use a pouchof hot water to keep them warm, next morning i can use no longer tepid water to wash and gargle. If I were a full-time housewife, I'll make the household life plan closely, I will bring my family can't wear clothes to tailor shop processing, such as cushion made cushion, I'll various life wastewater to flush the toilet. If I have a long holiday, I'll go up about friends go around the world, in each place can plant trees on land planted sapling, grass green, leaving the green belong to us。
